Mickey Schaefermeier, RNC,
graduated from the Barnes Hospital School of Nursing and holds a
certification in both Reproductive Endocrinology and In-Patient OB. Her
responsibilities include patient care and education, in addition to
serving as the IVF Coordinator.
Carolyn Tucker, RNC, graduated from the
St. John's Mercy Medical Center School of Nursing and holds a
certification in In-Patient OB. Her responsibilities include patient
care and education and insurance coverage verification. She will review
with you the infertility benefits once verification is complete.
The nurses provide high quality patient
care and strive for individual attention. One of their primary
responsibilities is patient education. They feel it is very important
that the infertile couple understand their medical issues, reasons for
testing, surgeries and possible outcomes. They also take care to address
all of your questions as they arise. Carolyn and Mickey recognize
how difficult this process may be for you and offer their support during
your time with us. They hope to get to know you and allow you to get to
know them on an individual basis.
